In project three we designed a system to sort and recycle containers of varying materials. We were to design a computer program and fabricate a mechanism for depositing the containers into a recycling bin. In this project as part of the computing team I helped to devise a program that would classify containers and load them using a q-arm onto a qbot where it would transport the containers and deposit them in the correct bin before returning home to run again.
